WHY TWO-ROTOR SCHEME?

Our team gives preference to a two-rotor scheme for a number of notable advantages. Having fewer key nodes decreases risks of failure. The scheme proved to be a very stable system, Chinook helicopters serve an example. Such a scheme also implies less weight because of the absence of additional engines and it has greater controllability due to the use of a swashplate.

We also have simplified the scheme of synchronization between the blades. And it is possible to increase the length of the blades, which is almost impossible in case of a multi-blade system. Additionally, a modular scheme allows to increase the number of blades up to 8 by adding more units.

WHY NOT ELECTRIC?

eVTOL solutions are very practical at short distances. But it has a significant disadvantage when it comes to high-altitude flights or long-distance flights, including flights in harsh weather conditions and icing.

From the very beginning we focused on developing solutions for long-distance flights at fast speed with heavy lift capabilities.

However, we design our vehicles to be compatible with electric propulsion systems and keep a close eye on the technology development. When its performance improves enough, we'll be happy to offer the market the new option.

HOW DID YOU DECIDE ON THE SPECIFICATIONS USED?

We conducted initial research to determine what solutions are already in use, what other companies in our industry are working on, and then tried to define in which segment the demand will be least satisfied in the future.

Based on the information received, we build our current solution. But the industry is developing rapidly, and therefore we constantly monitor the situation and continue to collect data that will allow us to release a truly in-demand product.

If you are somehow involved in the industry (as a carrier, customer, media, representative of a humanitarian or government organization, etc.) and want to add your expertise to the research (and when we complete it, to receive the results), please feel free to take part in our survey.

HOW IS THE REDUCED NOISE LEVEL ACHIEVED?

It is possible due to the reduction in the total diameter of the blades compared to helicopter.
We managed to increase the rotation speed to 2200 rpm and at the same time added an additional row of blades, which significantly increases lifting force.
